BarBot is an AI-powered chatbot designed to generate clever and complex rhymes based on any given topic provided by the user. Built as a creative fusion of AI and web technologies, the chatbot leverages modern front-end development techniques and JavaScript integrations to deliver an engaging and immersive user experience.
The goal of this project was to apply and showcase key concepts learned in the AI web development course by building a fully functional, AI-integrated web application. The focus was on blending technical skill with creative expression—using artificial intelligence to produce creative content, while also delivering a polished and immersive user interface.
The interface features a dark, atmospheric visual theme. The background is composed of iconic hip-hop album covers, providing an engaging aesthetic that ties into the lyrical focus of BarBot. JavaScript Plugins and advanced CSS concepts add dynamic effects such as a typewriter animation during bar output and a smooth blinking effect while the AI is generating a response, enhancing the overall user experience and making interactions feel more alive.
Developed as a capstone project for an AI web development course, BarBot demonstrates both technical proficiency and my creative vision. It combines front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) with AI API integration to create a unique, responsive chatbot that delivers real-time, topic-driven lyrics. The project highlights my ability to integrate AI into user-facing applications while maintaining strong design sensibilities and attention to user interaction.
